Guidelines for Business Shorts Press Releases:

  • Format: We only accept e-mailed press releases.

  • Format: Written in THIRD person (Do not use I or We).

  • Length: 125 words or less

  • Cost: There is no cost to run a business short

  • Requirements: Press releases must be about newsworthy events. Press releases should be in TXT or DOC/DOCX (Word 2007-2016) format.

  • Send To: Press releases should be emailed to office@w2wmichigan.com with photos. Photos should be in high resolution JPEG or PDF format.

  • Tips: Make sure your press release includes your business name, location, phone number, website, and female ownership or management contact. In general we do not run press releases for independent consultants (Arbonne, Avon, etc.) due to high volume of submissions. We only publish press releases about businesses in Michigan. We only accept press releases via email. There is no guarantee for publication.

Guidelines for Events & Happenings Submissions:

  • Medium: We only accept emailed press releases.

  • Deadline: 1st of month prior to publication.

  • Format: 20 words or less.

  • Cost: There is a nominal fee of $35.00 for event happenings. Must be prepaid.

  • Requirements: Include name of event, date, time, place, address, cost, contact name and number, website and email address.
